We could just die over our tufted, velvet office chairs.
The variety of music played in our office is likely shocking to some, it changes daily! From Jessica Simpson, to Dr. Dre, to Celine Dion – I mean, we like it all.
We love our white space, with pops of color, textures & trinkets. Our office is simple, fun & so us.
Unless it is hugely important to you and you see a true use for it, skip it. We have had so many family members and bridesmaids run up to us on the wedding day screaming that the photographer is missing the “signing”. Listen. It’s not that big of a deal anymore. The photographer is likely shooting something far more important to the couple in that exact moment anyhow.
Please don’t give your photographer a link to Pinterest photos you like. You have hired a professional and you better like their style or you are not going to be happy no matter what image they capture. Stop overthinking it and let your photographer be the artist.
Take it easy when making the list of group shots you want. The more you add, the more time and the more chaos you are signing up for. Think about what is most important and edit the list as much as possible. Your photographer is a great source for this process. Your wedding day is not a photo shoot or family reunion.
We love working with Thomas Caterers, for many reasons, but their unique food options continue to excite us. These little delights are just how they sound – bacon. spoons. Bacon anything is delicious, but they top these “spoons” with a tiny three cheese frittata and the cutest capers & dill garnish. Delightful.
Orange balsamic glazed chicken “lollipops”, easy & grab, and then you dip in pop rocks – so fun!
These soft, yet crunchy flatbreads, are topped with a mix of yummy cheeses, and veggies. Who wouldn’t like these?
We admittedly are not a quiet group. But, we love the openness of our space and the ability to share our ideas and thoughts quickly throughout the day!
We can’t stand ugly, so there is really no choice in the matter. We love that our clients walk in and feel like they are in a super chic space. Everyone works better that way!
We constantly snack. Coffee and wine are in full stock always. And, we want everyone that visits us to feel right at home.
Be sure to plan your lighting carefully for the evening. Whether your band or DJ provides this or you work through an experienced lighting company, creating the look and setting you want will come from the light you create. Move past the simple perimeter tent lighting and get creative!
When you are planning, be sure to create an easy way for guests to arrive and depart the event. Be sure to work with the city for any roadway blocks or traffic issues you foresee. Think of the worst scenario and fix it before it could ever occur. We love simply shuttling guests to and from another location where they park in a large area or lot. This makes things easy and no-nonsense.
Be careful when selecting the food for your guests if you are hosting outside. Heat tends to lend to a lower appetite and the need for lighter, chillier bites. Base everything around the season and expected temperatures and you will be good here.
Isn’t this a general rule?! Beyoncé makes everything more fun – always.
Thank your bridal party with a few words, we love these sweet moments!
You two may have decided you aren’t exchanging gifts & that’s okay – but there is nothing more touching than reading a note from your love!
